Win It! Charlie Banana Diapers and Wipes

Update: We have our winner! Congratulations to Laurie for her new stash of Charlie Bananas! Thank you to all who entered. There will be more giveaways here so stay tuned! This week, win a Britax booster seat!!

This week we are giving away my favorite brand of cloth diapers, Charlie Banana! Enter here to win 3 diapers in your choice of color/size and a stash of reusable wipes - handy for wiping baby's face, hands, or bottom.

I reviewed a good many brands of cloth diapers during my 30-day CD trial and I concluded that Charlie Banana was the brand for my family. Since Baby Mo has outgrown the samples we were given, I have ordered fresh batches in size medium.

Charlie Banana Cloth DiapersThese diapers never leak, they are soft and snug fitting, and you stuff and un-stuff the inserts from the front of the diaper rather than from the back like some other brands. This means that you are a lot less likely to get poopy hands while removing the insert since poop most often stays in the back.

Incidentally, Charlie Banana is going to celebrate its first anniversary on Monday, March 28. If you'd like to buy yourself a stash, this is a good time to do it! You will get free shipping on all orders over $88.88 plus get a chance to win gift certificates on Facebook and Twitter. Be sure you follow along!

If you'd like to win this week's prize, here is what you do:

  • Like us on Facebook
  • Post a comment in the comments section of this blog post (not on Facebook) about your cloth diapering experience and/or ambition.

Contest rules are here. This contest ends on Thursday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Good luck!

I'm still 3 months away from baby making her big arrival, but as of right now, we're aiming to do cloth diapering. Husband is hesitant, but I think if I can get him to just try out an easy to put on and wash diaper, he'll be fully on board. He likes the idea of a diaper service taking care of the cleaning, but why pay when we have a washing machine right here at home? Anyhow, I hope to find a diaper that can hold the runny, breast milk poop! I saw photos at the breast feeding class, it's not pretty! :)

I like you on Facebook as Selina Richelle Rupers

I started cloth diapering at 1 week old, and my son is going to be 1 year on April 1st! We've never tried Charlie Banana diapers, but so far my favorite are FuzziBunz. Charile Banana seems similar in style, so I've been wanting to try them! Thanks for the chance to win some in a giveaway! :D

I like you on FB! As far as my CDing experience, I have been at it since my son was born 11 months ago. I have figured out most of the kinks, but we do occasionally have leaking issues, repelling, etc. I would love to never having leaking issues again, so I would say that's my ambition. We have one Charlie Banana Diaper and we love it. so I can see why you do too! It would be a dream to have more of them!

I liked you on Facebook.

I've been cloth diapering both my sons since birth and love it! One of my sons had developed a sensitivity to the diapers I've been using (terrible rashes) so I'm in the process of trying anything and everything to get something to work! I'd love a chance to try out Charlie Banana diapers! I've heard so many good things!

I ordered my first batch of cloth diapers just a few days ago, should be here any day. I am so excited to try them and I know they will be so much better for my little girl than disposables.

We are less than 2 months away till our baby girl's coming and we have already geared up for cloth diapering. We ordered the G diapers but we are willing and hoping to try other kinds as well to see what works best for us. Kind of excited about being different and about not contributing to the landfills!

I started CD with my 2nd child when he was about 8 mos old. He's now 1 and I'm totally hooked. I found a friend that I knew was really into researching CD's, and got a whole bunch of really good info from her. My cave-man like husband really doesn't mind it, and we have found we like these products in regards to CD's: tide free & clear - can get coups and don't have to pay for shipping, flushable liners, Grovia AI2, Charlie Banana, and Fuzzibunz. I haven't purchased disposables in months! When you are on a tight budget, CD's are the way to go.

I like you on facebook as Jenny Hull.

We've been cloth diapering since our baby boy was 3 months old. I wanted to start from the beginning but had to put it on hold while we sorted out some breastfeeding issues (tongue tie). He's now 9 months old! And were still using cloth diapers. I've expanded my stash to include a variety of diapers but pockets still remain my favorite. I haven't had the chance to try Charlie Banana diapers yet, so I hope I win some!

Getting ready for my baby's arrival! I am really excited about cloth diapering! My husband and I have decided that it is what we wanted to do. I have done so much research and am still learning so much about cloth diapering. I would LOVE to try charlie banana!

I like you on facebook...

So far, our daughter is 10 months old and she is in cloth full time... we love it! We are always interested in trying something new. We started out with a very basic stash and we slowly add diapers and accessories here and there as she grows. We plan to diaper our next baby once he or she comes along one day too.

Just liked you on facebook. I just started cloth diapering about a week ago. I had my second son, he was 4 weeks early. After 8 days in the hospital he got to come home and we started using cloth. I've been surprised how easy it has been. We use bummis prefolds and bummis and thirsties covers. Have a couple AIO's and contours also. The bummis covers that come for 4-9 pounds have been my favorite so far. We use charlie banana cloth wipes which I LOVE. The double layer ones are so soft and great for other uses also. would love some more diapers for my stash!

I like you on Facebook.

I have been cloth diapering my 9-month-old since he was 7 days old. Now, I am preparing to diaper two babies. We are expecting out second little one in July. With a 13-month-old and a newborn, I am sure that I am going to be washing a lot of diapers, but I would rather do that than buy a ton. We are having a girl this time, so I have already started my "girly" stash. :)

March 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterJodie Wilson

I have cloth diapered my first and have learned lots of valuable lessons for my second time around. This time, instead of using disposables for the first few months while baby gets a bit bigger I am going to buy some small NB cloth and try to do it from the start:)
I really want to try these, so thanks for the chance!

I first started CDing my son when he was 5 months old, and we haven't looked back. We use mostly pockets and all-in-2s on him. My daughter is due in June, and I am excited to try out different types, like prefolds and fitteds and covers, on her.

thanks for the chance!

I liked you on FB. I have been cloth diapering for 5 months. We started when our little girl was 1 month. I love it! They are softer, better for the environment, and I just love knowing that I am not putting a bunch of chemicals and plastics next to her skin every day! I use FuzziBunz primarily, but I really want to try Charlie Banana! I am putting in an order on Monday!

March 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterElizabeth

I like you on facebook! I cannot wait to cloth diaper my future child! Charlie Banana diapers are a great brand that I would love to try! I think cloth diapering is so important for the environment & for our childrens health.

I like you on Facebook (facebook.com/geekmommy) and LOVE cloth diapering. If this contest is open to Canada, I'd love to win these and try them out. #2 is due ANY DAY NOW and so far I just have a bunch of one size pockets to use for him/her (yes, gender is an on-purpose surprise this time around).

We cloth diapered #1 for the 12 months I stayed home with him using Kushies All In Ones, and while they were an OK starting out experience, I have to say, having seen these pocket dipes in action (My sister tried them out with her then-10 month old daughter), I can't wait to use them too. They seem so much more absorbent and easier to clean (the old all-in-ones took forever to line dry, and putting them in the dryer ended up wrecking the waterproof outer layer..)

Liked you on FB. My son is 14 months old and we have been CDing for about a year now. So far we've tried Bummis covers and prefolds, gdiapers, Bum Genius AIOs, Soft Bums and GroBaby/Grovia. We are pretty much using Bum Genius and GroVia exclusively. We have been looking at Charlie Bananas because we barely make it two days on our bare bones stash. Thanks so much for having this contest, it's a little intimidating to try new cloth diapers because of the upfront cost.

I have recently discovered how addicting it is to cloth diaper. We have been CDing our 8 week old since she was about 2 weeks. I think I've made 2 or 3 orders in that short time, just so I can keep trying the different brands that I hear people rave about. I have been using BumGenius and am waiting for her Fuzzibunz order to come in at any time. I've been wanting to try out the Charlie Banana dipes, especially since I've followed your diaper challenge from the beginning. I'd love to own a favorite!

March 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterErin B.

i'm going to be a mama in about 10 more weeks! (yes, funny how prego people count in weeks.) anyway. charlie banana is my diaper of choice based on everything í've read and heard. i'm glad to hear positive things about them!!

March 25, 2011 | Unregistered Commentertraci

I just about squealed when I saw this pop up on my News Feed on Facebook! I have another 3 weeks until my little one gets here, but I plan to CD from the start. Currently I am borrowing my sisters stash of XS sized BumGenius diapers but I'm going to need to invest in my own. CDing just makes sense to me. They are better for my babies sweet bottom, better for the environment and they are just too darn cute! Not to mention that I have been lusting after the Charlie Banana Butterfly print diaper ever since I first laid eyes on it!

March 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterHeidi

I have been using cloth diapers since July 2008 and would love to win some more. Love not having so much trash to throw away since using cloth. I still use them with my 2 and 1 year olds. They love them as well!
