Fisher-Price Recall

Baby Mo got a Little People Builders Load n Go Wagon for his birthday a few weeks ago. A few days later, we found out that the product had been recalled. Woops!

The problem is that the yellow handle has plastic reinforcements on the backside that can cause lacerations if someone falls on it. The likelihood that this happens is small, in my opinion, but apparently it has happened so Fisher-Price did a voluntary recall of the product.

When I learned about this, I thought it would be a huge pain toget it fixed. It wasn't!

I called the phone number listed in the recall and a nice woman asked me to read off numbers on the bottom of the toy. I didn't have to track down the box or find a receipt thankfully. They said that they would send a replacement handle as soon as possible but in the meantime, they asked that I not use the toy.

About 10 days later, a replacement handle showed up with detailed instructions on how to change it out. No tools required. No hassle. It took 90 seconds.

I'm really impressed with Fisher-Price for making this so easy on me. I'm glad I went the extra mile to do this because the toy was a gift from Baby Mo's aunt and he loves it!

If you have one of these, be sure to click here for information on how to get yours fixed too.

Good as new!
