Father's Day Gift Guide
Moms might be even worse than dads when it comes to waiting until the last minute to buy a Father's Day gift. I know I’m behind this year. Oops! I started perusing the net for some ideas and came across a few worth sharing. If you’ve already got a great gift planned, please share!
For the dad who likes to look good without hitting the gym:

Buy any top and bottom and save 20 percent!
For the sophisticated drinker

All-natural Vermont soapstone whisky stones are a must-have for lovers of fine whiskies and bourbons who like their drinks to have a slight chill but don’t want to water down the perfect balance of flavors in their chosen spirit. Scandinavians have used granite rocks for this same purpose for hundreds of years, but soapstone has superior thermal properties and being mostly composed of talc, won’t scratch your glass.
For the stylish and adventurous dresser

These ties and the tins they come in are so darn cute! I love the fun prints. BUT I’m not sure if I could convince my man to wear one. Who knows, your hubby may be itching to try one but is scared. Why not go out on a limb get something outside the traditional tie?
For the serious BBQ’er (warning: pricey!)

My dad has one of these smokers and I’ve watched my hubby eye it enviously many a time. Maybe one day! The Big Green Egg is a modern-day evolution of these ancient cookers. Its design is modeled on the clay cooking vessels used during the Chinese Qin Dynasty and then by the Japanese beginning in the 3rd century. These things are amazing. It’s a smoker, a grill, and an oven, and you can cook literally any food on it year round, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. If you don’t believe me, check out this New York Time article. These things are incredible – and they should be with the most popular model being $800 (but that does come with a lifetime guarantee.)
For the child at heart
One of the DaddyBetas actually just purchased one of these for himself through Groupon. The mailman delivered it yesterday and he was playing with it within five minutes!

For the dad who needs new pants

Dad will not only love these pants ($88); you will too. There’s something about their cut that just makes any butt look good. Not that I’m checking them out ;) They have traditional colors and fun prints. Follow them on Facebook for special deals!
For the responsible dad who is obsessed with keeping snacks cool

This thing is awesome! It’s a cooler with wheels and there’s even an electronic version with a 10-mile range and gas mode with a 30 mile range. Dad will make sure you or your kids are without a cold beverage or snack again. I’m totally sure that’s what he’ll use this for. ;)
As with any holiday like this, I’m more of a fan of a homemade, personal or thoughtful gift than something elaborate but if you’ve got the cash, go for it! ;)
